How to Create a Training Program in Scandlearn

A Training Program acts as a container where you can add multiple courses that need to be completed by an individual user or a group.

Follow these steps to create a Training Program:

Step 1: Navigate to Training Management

  1. Go to Manage > Training.

  2. Click the Create button in the top-right corner.

Step 2: Create a Training Program

  1. Select Training Program from the options.

  2. Name your program, for example, My Trainings for 2025.

  3. Click Next in the top-right corner to proceed.

Step 3: Add Curriculum (Courses)

  1. You will now be taken to the curriculum selection page to choose the courses to include in your program.

  2. Click Add Curriculum, which will open Scandlearn’s course library.

  3. Select one or multiple courses to link to the program. Repeat this step for each course you want to include.

  4. Once a course is added, it will appear on the page. Click on a course to modify its content and settings, such as:

    • Whether it is a one-time training or continuous training.

    • The validity period is after completion.

    • When should the course be made available.

  5. After you make the necessary adjustments, you can click Save to return to the curriculum selection page.

Step 4: Assign Users or Groups

  1. Click Next in the top-right corner to proceed to the Enrollment page.

  2. Select the users or groups who should have access to this program.

  3. Click Confirm to finalize the enrollment.

Step 5: Publish the Program

  • Click Publish to complete the process. Congratulations! Your training program is now created.

Tip:

Now that you have created your program, you can link existing courses to it. To do this, go to the specific course, find the Program field on the first page, and select the desired program from the drop-down menu.
