Find the answer below. Most Scandlearn courses purchased from our webshop have a default validity of 12 months. The exceptions are the Dangerous Goods course, which has a 24-month validity, and the Crew Resource Management course, which has a 36-month validity. The expiry date of our courses is determined based on our extensive experience working with air operators and their respective authorities. This date reflects an average of the recurrent training schedules commonly used by most air operators. The expiry date is calculated from the completion date, plus the certificate validity period (12, 24, or 36 months). Thus, the course expires on the same day it was originally completed. **PLEASE NOTE:** The course validity or training expiry date should not be confused with the license validity, which refers to how long the course is available to customers purchasing from the webshop.   **Want to set your own validity date and expiry settings?** If you are a company and the Scandlearn default validity periods don't suit your internal procedure.
