Linking Multiple Courses to the Same Qualification in LEON

When updating or replacing a course (e.g., with a CBTA version), add a linking code in the course settings to keep the same qualification in LEON. This guide explains how.

✅ Steps to Link Courses

  1. Open the Course Settings
In Scandlearn LMS, go to the course settings of the relevant course(s).

  2. Locate the "Code" Field
Scroll to the Code field (see screenshot below).

    📷 Example:

  3. Enter the Same Code in All Linked Courses

    • Type a shared identifier (e.g., ADS200) into the Code field.

    • Use the same code in all courses that should report to the same qualification in LEON.

    • This must include both the archived and the active course versions.

🔄 Sync with LEON

After updating the Code field:

  1. Disable the LEON integration.

  2. Re-enable the integration.
This forces a resync so that LEON correctly applies the qualification updates.

📝 Notes

  • The Code acts as a link between different courses and a single qualification in LEON.

  • If no code is used—or if different codes are used—LEON will treat them as separate qualifications.

  • This is especially important when replacing or updating existing training with new versions.
